Football Recap: Amanda-Clearcreek Comes Up Short

After flying high against Logan Elm last Friday, Amanda-Clearcreek came back down to earth. The Aces lost 34-14 to the Fairfield Union Falcons on Friday. The Aces haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Amanda-Clearcreek now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Fairfield Union, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Amanda-Clearcreek is taking a road trip to square off against Liberty Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Aces will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.22 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Fairfield Union, they will challenge John Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
