Baseball Recap: Eagle Gets the Win

Eagle won the last time they faced Madison and things went their way on Friday too. The Mustangs had just enough and edged out the Bobcats 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Eagle got a great performance from Jacob Ames as he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts Ames has posted since back in March of 2025.

At the plate, Dallin Snooks was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Eagle now has a winning record of 2-1.

Eagle wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-1 victory against Rocky Mountain on the 14th. As for Madison, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-6 defeat against Timberline on the 13th.
