Volleyball Recap: Hancock Comes Up Short

Hancock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Berkeley Springs Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 last Tuesday.

Hancock might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Berkeley Springs: every set was decided by exactly two points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23, 25-23.

Hancock's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Berkeley Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Hancock will be playing in front of their home fans against St. John's Catholic Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Berkeley Springs, they are taking a road trip to take on Mountain View Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
