Dos Pueblos is 8-1 against Pacifica since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Dos Pueblos Chargers will venture away from home to challenge the Pacifica Tritons at 7:00 p.m.

Last Wednesday, Dos Pueblos ended up a good deal behind San Marcos and lost 57-42. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 384th, while the Royals are ranked 97th).

Meanwhile, Pacifica hadn't done well against Buena recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Pacifica had just enough and edged Buena out 82-80. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tritons as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Dos Pueblos' defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-13. As for Pacifica, their win bumped their record up to 10-16.

Dos Pueblos beat Pacifica 63-52 in their previous matchup on January 10th. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dos Pueblos since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
