Volleyball Game Preview: Zion Academy Lions vs. Community Baptist Conquerors

After both having extra time off, the Zion Academy Lions and the Community Baptist Conquerors will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Zion Academy came up short against Faith Christian Academy on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-15, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Community Baptist made easy work of Oak Ridge Military Academy on Monday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Conquerors.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Community Baptist took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-8, 25-13.

Community Baptist now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Zion Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
