Baseball Recap: Sunset Comes Up Short

South Oak Cliff hit Sunset with a six-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bison lost 10-4 to the Golden Bears. The Bison haven't had much luck with the Golden Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Dreadan Galvan was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Rojo, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Sunset's defeat dropped their record down to 17-6-1. As for South Oak Cliff, their record now sits at 12-7-3.

While Sunset had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
