Recap: Palmer Tigers vs. Hampton Hawks
The Palmer Tigers lost against the Hampton Hawks back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Palmer's tough 52-28 loss to the Hawks might stick with them for a while. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Palmer in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now lost five in a row.
Eli Arndt had an outrageously good game for Hampton as he scored 17 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jack Bullis, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Palmer's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Hampton, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palmer and the Red Hornets will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Heartland Lutheran is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Hampton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. College View Academy is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
