Softball Recap: Canyon View Comes Up Short

Canyon View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-2 to the North Sanpete Hawks. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 9-3 to the Hawks when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Canyon View saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Saide Adams, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Canyon View's record is now 0-7. As for North Sanpete, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Canyon View will challenge Delta at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Canyon View has given up an average of 11.4 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for North Sanpete, they will face off against Springville at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
