Football Game Preview: Everett Vikings vs. Portage Central Mustangs + How To Watch

The Everett Vikings will challenge the Portage Central Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Everett has given up an average of 26.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Everett had to suffer through a 63-7 loss at the hands of DeWitt. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Meanwhile, Portage Central strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They claimed a resounding 40-8 win over St. Joseph. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Mustangs' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 15th, while the Bears are ranked 154th).

Portage Central found their leader in sophomore Cam Noe, who rushed for 181 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for three yards and one TD. With that strong performance, Noe is now averaging an impressive 113.6 rushing yards per game.

Everett's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Portage Central, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.
