Volleyball Recap: Sam Houston Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sam Houston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Bowie Volunteers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Volunteers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Patience Ondiba paced Sam Houston's offense, picking up six kills. Ondiba got some help from Samera Burton and her ten assists.

Sam Houston's loss dropped their record down to 5-22-1. As for Bowie, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-12.

Sam Houston wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Arlington on the 10th. As for Bowie, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Martin on the 10th.
