While Stella Thomas delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for St. Joseph Central Catholic. Thomas was unstoppable, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and seven unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Thomas and St. Joseph Central Catholic will host Hopewell-Loudon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Crimson Streaks haven't beaten the Chieftains recently, having gone 0-7 since May of 2021.
