Basketball Recap: Saturday's Defeat Ends Glenwood's Winning Streak

Glenwood was the 43-40 winner over Edwardsville when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Glenwood Titans received a blow on Saturday as they fell 40-24 to the Edwardsville Tigers. The matchup marked the Titans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Glenwood saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Alexis Neumann posted ten points.

Glenwood moved to 12-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Edwardsville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season.
