Soccer Recap: King Has No Trouble Against Corpus Christi Moody

After low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, King brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They blew past the Corpus Christi Moody Trojans 5-2 on Friday. The score was close at the half, but the Mustangs pulled away in the second half with two goals.

King's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Corpus Christi Moody, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King will head out to face off against Carroll at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Corpus Christi Moody, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ray at 8:00 p.m. on February 4th.
