Soccer Recap: Decatur Takes a Loss

Decatur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 5-2 to the West Morgan Rebels. If the Red Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Rebels when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Decatur's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for West Morgan, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Decatur didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-2 defeat against Brewer on the 1st. As for West Morgan, they will square off against Madison County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Madison County's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
