Basketball Recap: Windsor Locks Takes a Loss

Windsor Locks was the 49-42 winner over East Windsor when they last played one another last Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Windsor Locks Raiders lost to the East Windsor Panthers at home by a 57-41 margin on Wednesday. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead East Windsor to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kyelah Smith, who went 8-for-18 en route to 24 points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave Smith a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Bailey Winner, who posted 17 points and seven boards.

Windsor Locks' defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for East Windsor, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-7.

Windsor Locks has already played their next contest (against East Windsor/Bloomfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for East Windsor, they will face off against Canton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
