Northern Cass Gets a Boost from Hoppe in 48-14 Defeat
Starting off the list is Northern Cass's Matthew Hoppe, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hoppe rushed for 156 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 86-yard run.
Hillsboro/Central Valley had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Hoppe it was a similar story. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Hoppe saw the H-CV Burros), he rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry.

Oakes was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Christopher Titus did his best to prevent it. Kindred had no answer to Titus as he rushed for four yards.
Oakes' loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-5. Titus and Oakes will square off against Langdon/Edmore/Munich at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Thompson was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Karter Peterson did his best to prevent it. Lisbon had no answer to Peterson as he picked up 32 receiving yards and a touchdown. Peterson also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack, forcing a fumble, and making a tackle.
On the season, Peterson has caught those 1 touchdown while averaging 27.1 receiving yards per game.

Brody Geston Makes It Two for Northern Cass
The second Northern Cass player making an appearance here is Brody Geston, and for good reason. He picked up 56 receiving yards and a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 56 yards.
This season, Geston has averaged 5.3 total tackles per game.
