Peru Gets a Boost from Korba in 29-16 Loss

Peru had to settle for second on Friday, but Isaiah Korba sure wasn't going down easily. Northwestern had no answer to Korba as he rushed for 163 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. Korba was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 52 yards.

Peru dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Korba and Peru will face off against Manchester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Aiden Robinson Turns in Season-Best Performance

On Friday, Maconaquah got the W thanks in part to Aiden Robinson playing the best football he has all season. Robinson wasn't messing around, throwing for 376 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 78.3% of his passes. The match was his sixth straight with three or more passing touchdowns dating back to last season.

The win for Maconaquah keeps them at an undefeated 7-0-1. Robinson and Maconaquah will be playing in front of their home fans against Rochester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Marcell Sims' Big Game Leads Maconaquah over Wabash

Marcell Sims was instrumental in extending Maconaquah's winning streak to six on Friday. Nobody could stop Sims as he picked up 178 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown. His longest reception was for an incredible 71 yards.

For the season, Sims has caught those 2 touchdowns while averaging 38.1 receiving yards per game.

Beck Came Up Big in Rochester's 29-0 Win

Rochester picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Brant Beck. Beck was dynamite, rushing for 105 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Southwood's probably not too fond of Beck given he always seems to get the better of them. Beck rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries the last time he and the Knights duked it out back in October of 2023.
