Basketball Recap: Calvary City Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Calvary City Christian Academy saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell just short of the Apopka Christian Academy Lions by a score of 47-44. The loss was Calvary City Christian Academy's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Calvary City Christian Academy fell to 2-1. As for Apopka Christian Academy, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Calvary City Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Trinity Lutheran at 5:00 p.m. on February 11th. As for Apopka Christian Academy, they will square off against Geneva at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
