The biggest upset of the week belonged to Windham, who defeated 613th ranked Chalker, 29-28.
Adding to the longest winning streak in Northeastern Athletic this week, Grand Valley beat Mathews 22-20. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
5-foot-10 quarterback Austin Casper of the Wildcats is the league leader in passing yards this season with 618. He has also thrown 8 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Nick Holt. The Pymatuning Valley star has 22 catches for 369 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Chalker takes on second place Pymatuning Valley. Last week, Chalker fell to the Bombers, while Pymatuning Valley bested Ledgemont.
The Lakers' offense has racked up 216 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Ryan Slone's team has allowed only 222 on the year.
Next week's game between the Wildcats and Pymatuning Valley will feature an aerial matchup as Casper tests his arm against Quintin Ratliff's defensive ability.
There should be lots of points scored when Chalker and Neal Croston's team face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Wildcats comes in having scored 188 this season, while the Lakers have scored 216. Chalker scored 28 points last week as it fell to Windham.
The Bombers led the league in scoring this week by notching 29 points on the Wildcats.
