Gilmour Academy won the last time they faced Kenston and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lancers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Bombers.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Gilmour Academy who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-19, 21-25, 25-16, 21-25, 18-16.

Gilmour Academy now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Kenston, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

Gilmour Academy will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on St. Ursula Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Kenston, they will challenge Archbishop Hoban at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
