Football Recap: Dibble Triumphs

Dibble took a 27-point defeat the last time they faced off against Davis, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. In a tight game that could have gone either way, the Demons made off with a 28-27 victory over the Wolves. The win was nothing new for the Demons as they're now sitting on three straight.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Tucker Skipper and Wyatt Malchaski. Skipper rushed for 51 yards and two touchdowns while Malchaski rushed for 184 yards. Those 51 rushing yards gave Skipper a new career-high.

Dibble's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Davis, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Dibble will face off against rival Community Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Davis is set to take on their familiar foe Beggs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
