Softball Recap: Springville Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

Springville had won five straight at home, but on Thursday they bumped their record up to 38-3-1 to make it six. Everything went their way against the St. Clair County Fighting Saints as they made off with a 10-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 29 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

As for St. Clair County, they moved to 23-14-1 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak. They were red-hot at the plate heading into the game (they scored no less than ten runs in the four matches prior), but Springville's pitcher proved too tough.

For St. Clair County's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aniyah Dean, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Looking ahead, Springville will take on Plainview at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. St. Clair County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
