Volleyball Recap: Orangefield Comes Up Short

Orangefield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Huntington Red Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bobcats of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Orangefield's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Huntington, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Orangefield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Lufkin on the 21st. As for Huntington, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Rusk on the 21st.
