Volleyball Game Preview: Browne Bruins vs. South Mountain Jaguars

The Browne Bruins will head out to square off against the South Mountain Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Browne has four straight victories, South Mountain has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Tuesday, Browne earned a 3-1 win over Camelback.

Browne had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-21, 25-11, 25-17.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when South Mountain duked it out with Maryvale on Thursday. The Jaguars came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 25-17.

South Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Browne, they pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Browne beat South Mountain 3-1 in their previous meeting last Tuesday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bruins since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
