Softball Recap: Deer Park Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Deer Park ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Dickinson Gators by a score of 7-2. The Deer haven't had any issues with the Gators recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Deer Park's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-5. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Dickinson, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-17.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Deer Park is set to challenge their familiar foe Clear Falls at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Dickinson will face off against rival Clear Creek at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
