Football Recap: Montville Comes Up Short

Montville blew Roxbury out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Roxbury got their revenge. The Mustangs fell just short of the Gaels by a score of 16-14. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Gaels apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Montville and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Roxbury, the win also got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montville will host Parsippany Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Roxbury, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Morris Knolls at 7:00 p.m.
