Volleyball Recap: Randolph Ro-Hawks vs. Marion Bulldogs
Randolph had already won 11 in a row and they went ahead and made it 12 on Tuesday. They blew past the Marion Bulldogs 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Ro-Hawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Randolph walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17, 25-21.
Peyton Randall paced Randolph's offense, picking up ten kills. Randall got some help from
Sanaa Taylor and her 12 assists.
Randolph is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 34-7 record this season. As for Marion, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-17.
Randolph will head out to take on Burbank at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Burbank is on a 12-game streak of home wins, Randolph a seven-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Marion does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
