Baseball Game Preview: Crimson Cliffs Mustangs vs. Cedar Reds

For the second straight game, Crimson Cliffs will face off against Cedar. The Mustangs will be playing at home against the Reds at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The last three games Crimson Cliffs has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Wednesday, it was close, but Crimson Cliffs sidestepped Cedar for a 12-10 win. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Reds recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

AUSTIN SMITH was incredible, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. JASON MCARTHUR was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Crimson Cliffs kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March of 2024.

Cedar has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season. As for Crimson Cliffs, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.
