Softball Recap: Manor Takes a Loss

Manor came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Norcom Greyhounds, falling 23-14. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Greyhounds earlier this season, when they won 11-8.

Manor has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Norcom, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Manor will challenge rival Maury at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Norcom is set to face off against their familiar foe Churchland at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
