Football Recap: Glendale Falcons vs. Neosho Wildcats
Glendale had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 44-38 to the Neosho Wildcats on Friday. The Falcons lost against the Wildcats in their previous head to head back in August of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 51-13 score last time.
Leading Neosho to victory were Keisean Rhone and Blayne Patterson. Rhone rushed for 212 yards and one score, while Patterson threw for 234 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those 212 rushing yards gave Rhone a new career-high. 80 of Patterson's passing yards were hauled in by Haven Plummer, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
Looking ahead, Glendale will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Willard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Neosho, they will head out on the road to square off against Kickapoo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
