Allen East is a perfect 3-0 against Ridgemont since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Mustangs will be playing at home against the Golden Gophers at 5:00 p.m. Ridgemont took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Allen East, who comes in off a win.

Allen East lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Bluffton, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's game. The Mustangs never let the Pirates get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Tuesday. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, while it was Ridgemont who put the first runs on the board on Tuesday, it was Hardin Northern who put up more. The Golden Gophers came up short against the Polar Bears, falling 12-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Golden Gophers in their meetings with the Polar Bears: they've now lost five in a row.

Ridgemont saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Moore, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Allen East's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Ridgemont, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Everything went Allen East's way against Ridgemont when the teams last played back in April of 2021, as Allen East made off with a 16-3 win. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Golden Gophers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
