Volleyball Recap: Seven Straight Road Wins for Crestwood

Crestwood posted their closest win since April 12th on Saturday. They skirted past the Valley View Cougars 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Comets sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Crestwood got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 30-28, 25-22, 23-25, 15-12.

Deven Paulson went supernova, getting 22 digs. Those 22 digs gave him a new career-high. Zach Koons was another key player, getting 48 assists and five digs.

Crestwood pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Valley View, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4.

Coming up, Crestwood will be playing in front of their home fans against Holy Redeemer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Royals will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Comets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Valley View, they will venture away from home to take on Greater Nanticoke Area at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
