Football Recap: Myrtle Point Skates Past Illinois Valley with Ease + How To Watch

Myrtle Point won against Toledo last Friday with 52 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Bobcats took their matchup with ease, bagging a 52-14 win over the Illinois Valley Cougars. For the Bobcats, this counts as revenge for the 49-14 victory the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2017.

Despite the loss, Illinois Valley still got an impressive performance from Tanner Brazil, who rushed for 142 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Myrtle Point now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Illinois Valley, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Myrtle Point will take on Waldport at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Illinois Valley, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Bandon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
