Football Recap: Centerville Bulldogs vs. Lapel Bulldogs
Centerville and Lapel squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Centerville had to settle for second. They came up short against the Lapel Bulldogs, falling 21-0. The game marked the first time this season in which Centerville was not able to get on the board.
Jace Hollendonner threw for 168 yards on 11 of 25 attempts, and also rushed for 34 yards.

Leading Lapel to victory were Devin Craig and Rylie Hudson. The defeat snapped Centerville's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-2 record. As for Lapel, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.
Centerville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lapel, they will square off against Triton Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Triton Central has won four straight at home, while Lapel won six straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
