Basketball Recap: Centauri Find Success + How To Watch

Centauri won against Salida on Thursday with 56 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Falcons came out on top against the Colorado Springs Christian Lions by a score of 56-47. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Colorado Springs Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maximiliano Cota-Cordova, who went 8-for-13 on his way to 19 points and five boards. Cota-Cordova is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 19 or more in each of the last four games he's played dating back to last season. Sam Salsbery was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds.

The win got Centauri back to even at 2-2. As for Colorado Springs Christian, their record is now 1-1.

Centauri will take on Gunnison in a holiday battle at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Colorado Springs Christian and Peyton will compete for holiday cheer at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
