Blessed Trinity faced Walton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Titans fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1. The Titans' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

While Blessed Trinity ultimately came up short, they really made Walton work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 20-25, 15-10.

Destinee Chukelu paced Blessed Trinity's offense, picking up nine kills. Chukelu got some help from Zoe Woodward and her 17 assists. Felicia Torrico controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Among those leading the charge was Ella Cobb, who had 12 digs and one assist.

Blessed Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 30-10. As for Walton, their victory bumped their record up to 19-6.

Looking ahead, Blessed Trinity will be playing in front of their home fans against Centennial at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Walton, they have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Marist on the 27th.
