Logan faced Mesa Vista in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Longhorns came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 69-60. The Longhorns' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Logan got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Hayden Bruhn out in front who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards. Bruhn's big performance that afternoon made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Mason Wallin, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds.

Logan's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Mesa Vista, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-1.

Coming up, Logan will be home for the holidays to greet Roy/Mosquero at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mesa Vista, they will be taking part in a tournament against Creede at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
