Football Game Preview: King Philip Regional Warriors vs. Foxborough Warriors

King Philip Regional is 6-1 against Foxborough since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. King Philip Regional will take on Foxborough at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are still undefeated after three games, but that won't be the case come Friday.

King Philip Regional's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Norwood 43-0. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Warriors just coasted through the last quarter.

Meanwhile, Foxborough was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Putnam Vo-Tech 58-0. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Beavers are ranked 266th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

King Philip Regional's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Foxborough, their win bumped their record up to an identical 3-0.

King Philip Regional strolled past Foxborough when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a score of 21-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for King Philip Regional since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
