Bartlesville waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Ponca City Wildcats by a score of 5-1. While the Bruins didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-22), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Bartlesville pushed their record up to 9-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Ponca City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Bartlesville will take on Norman at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ponca City, they will square off against Sapulpa at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
