Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Collins). They were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Liberty Common Eagles on Thursday. Jack McGuirk was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

The win was the fourth in a row for Fort Collins, bringing their record up to 7-7-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four matchups. As for Liberty Common, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5-2.

Looking ahead, Fort Collins will square off against Cherry Creek on Wednesday. Liberty Common does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
