The biggest upset of the week belonged to Sasakwa, who defeated 39th ranked Maud, 46-44. Floyd House threw for 68 yards and ran for 253 yards during the win.
Arkoma's Tyree Noldon recorded the longest rushing play in C District 4 (8 Man) this season in his game against Webbers Falls last week. Noldon ran for 90 yards on the play and finished with 102 on the day as his team beat the Warriors.
Ethann Gates threw for 421 yards and 5 touchdowns. He was 10-24 with 1 interception.
House was a key player and the best on defense this week as the Vikings bested the Tigers. The 5-foot-7 senior recorded 1 fumble.
House was a force in the backfield as Sasakwa defeated Maud.
Tanner Sweeten had an awesome week catching the football as Arkoma topped Webbers Falls. He caught 6 passes for 287 yards.
Gates put up the best numbers through the air as Mark Weatherton's team defeated the Warriors. Gates' favorite target this week was Sweeten, who caught 6 passes for 287 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Mustangs' Gates and Sweeten have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-0 quarterback Gates has thrown for 1,920 yards this season, while Sweeten has 45 catches for 1,269 yards. Cody Harjo from Johnie Loggins' team leads the league in rushing with 1,133 yards.
Going into this week's game against Timberlake, Arkoma's Gates needs 80 passing yards to surpass 2,000 on the season.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Thackerville beat Midway 54-6. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Wildcats.
