Basketball Recap: St. Johns Takes a Loss

St. Johns lost against Haslett back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The St. Johns Redwings took a 58-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Haslett Vikings. While losing is never fun, the Redwings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 317th, while the Vikings are ranked 117th).

St. Johns now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Haslett, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-5.

Coming up, St. Johns will be taking part in a tournament against Central Montcalm at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Haslett, they will take on Fowlerville in a tournament on Monday. Haslett has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 185 points over their last three contests.
