Big game from Serrell as Gateway won 72-64
Knyle Serrell now has a new season-high in rebounds thanks to his big game on Tuesday. He was dialed in and dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. He played a big game the last time he faced Aurora Central, so the team probably should've seen him coming. We rated that as his best effort of the season, edging out his previous best set back in December of 2023.
Serrell and Gateway will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. The last time Serrell took on Thornton, he made a splash, scoring six points along with six rebounds and four steals.
