Wiseburn- Da Vinci waltzed into their contest on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the University Wildcats. For the Wolves, this counts as revenge for the 1-0 win the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2023.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Wiseburn- Da Vinci who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12.

Andre Pimienta paced Wiseburn- Da Vinci's offense, picking up eight kills. Pimienta got some help from Dylan Soriano and his 13 assists.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci pushed their record up to 14-11 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for University, their loss dropped their record down to 17-8-1.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci has already played their next match, a 1-0 defeat against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent on the 29th. As for University, they will welcome Palisades at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
