Volleyball Recap: Princeton Takes a Loss

The Princeton Vikings came up short against the Chaminade Julienne Catholic Eagles on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Claudia Simons paced Princeton's offense, picking up eight kills. Simons got some help from Trysta Leach and her ten assists. Leach also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Timaya Crooks, racking up two apiece.

Princeton's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Chaminade Julienne Catholic, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Princeton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Mason on the 26th. As for Chaminade Julienne Catholic, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Lakota West on the 23rd.
