Recap: Olympus Titans vs. Brighton Bengals

While the Olympus Titans couldn't quite beat the Brighton Bengals on Tuesday, the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 24-point loss they were dealt last Tuesday. Olympus fell just short of Brighton by a score of 51-49. Olympus was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Brighton apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Olympus' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keily Trabanino, who scored 15 points along with four steals. Trabanino is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Joss Baker, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.

This is the second loss in a row for Olympus and nudges their season record down to 9-10. As for Brighton, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Alta the next time they take the court. Olympus will head out to face Alta at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Brighton will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
