Glen Lake waltzed into their game on Friday with 17 straight wins... but they left with 18. They strolled past the Elk Rapids Elks with points to spare, taking the game 60-41. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 65-54 back in November of 2024.

Glen Lake's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Benji Allen, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 18 points and seven rebounds. What's more, Allen posted two blocks, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jacob Plamondon, who went 7-for-13 on his way to 15 points and eight boards.

Glen Lake pushed their record up to 22-1 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Elk Rapids, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-5.

Coming up, Glen Lake will square off against Harbor Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harbor Springs will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Glen Lake surely won't give up without a fight. Elk Rapids does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
