South Paulding took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Alexander Cougars by a score of 2-0. The Spartans were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Cougars, so the Spartans were just returning the favor.

South Paulding never let Alexander on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22.

Coincidentally, South Paulding and Alexander will both be playing Paulding County the next time they take the court. The Cougars will head out to face the Patriots at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Spartans will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
