Volleyball Recap: Palisades Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Palisades was the 3-0 winner over Ballantyne Ridge when they last played one another on September 2nd, but their luck changed this time around. The Pumas fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Pumas have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Palisades sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 27-29, 25-17, 20-25, 22-20.

Ballantyne Ridge found their leader in sophomore Shreya Meda, who had 38 assists. Those 38 assists set a new season-high mark for Meda. Another player making a difference was Oni Nueman, who had six kills, four aces, and two blocks.

Palisades' loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Ballantyne Ridge, with the victory, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 5-13.

Palisades didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Providence on the 30th. As for Ballantyne Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Ardrey Kell on the 30th.
