Volleyball Recap: Hall Victorious

Hall won the last time they faced St. Anne and things went their way on Saturday too. The Red Devils walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cardinals.

Hall easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-17.

Charlie Pellegrini paced Hall's offense, picking up nine kills. Pellegrini got some help from Leah Burkhart and her eight assists. Kaitlyn Coutts and Evelyn Bryant kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Despite the loss, St. Anne had strong showings from Demi Duncan, who had three aces and two blocks, and Tessa DeYoung, who had five digs.

Hall's victory bumped their record up to 6-14-1. As for St. Anne, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-6.

Hall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Reed-Custer on the 27th. As for St. Anne, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Streator on the 27th.
